Booking and payments
The customer makes a booking online at www.villavuokatti.fi.
The customer shall be sent a booking confirmation email including the accommodation owner’s details and those of the customer’s booking.
The person making the booking must be 18 years or over. A minor staying at our accommodation without their guardian shall have written consent from their guardian sent to VILLAVUOKATTI OY prior to the stay.
The booking shall be confirmed once the customer has either made the payment online at the time of booking or received an invoice and paid the deposit (30% of the price of the stay) or paid both the deposit and the final instalment.
When paying through an Internet banking facility or with a credit card, the full booking price will be charged.
Paying by invoice:
When paying by invoice, the booking price shall be charged in two instalments: the deposit (30% of the booking price) and the final instalment (70% of the booking price). If the booking is made later than 35 days prior to the check-in date, the deposit (30%) shall not be charged separately. The final instalment shall be paid at the latest four (4) weeks prior to the check-in date. The booking cannot be cancelled by not paying the deposit or the final instalment. If the deposit or the final instalment have not been paid by their due dates, the accommodation provider may cancel the booking.
Cancelling or changing the booking
If the customer has to cancel the booking, they shall inform VILLAVUOKATTI OY immediately by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling +358 44 520 7709.
The booking may be cancelled without charge before the deposit due date.
If the customer cancels the booking no later than 28 days prior to the check-in date, the amount paid by the customer, excluding a cancellation fee (-20% of the price of the stay), shall be refunded. If the booking is cancelled later than this, the full price shall be charged.
With all bookings over EUR 1000, cancellations must be made 60 days prior to the check-in date. If the customer makes the cancellation later than this, the cancellation fee shall be 75% of the full price of the stay. If the cancellation is made later than 28 days prior to the check-in date due to a serious illness or death in the family, the price, excluding a cancellation fee (-50% of the price of the stay), shall be refunded. In such cases, the customer shall provide a doctor’s note to VILLAVUOKATTI OY.
The accommodation provider may cancel the booking due to force majeure. In such cases, the customer shall be refunded their payment to the accommodation provider in full.
Staying at the accommodation
The customer may use the accommodation from 4 p.m. on the check-in date to 12 noon on the check-out date. Villa Inca Gold and Villa Pearl White are available from 6 p.m. on the check-in date to 12 noon on the check-out date.
The keys to the accommodation are handed over to the customer by the key service, owner or maintenance service.
The number of guests at the accommodation shall not exceed the number of beds stated in the description of the accommodation concerned unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking. Tents and caravans are not permitted on the premises of the property without the consent of the owner. Pets are not allowed at the accommodation unless stated otherwise in the description of the accommodation concerned. Smoking indoors is prohibited at the accommodation. The customer shall be liable to the owner of the property for any damage to the property or its contents.
The customer shall be responsible for the cleaning of the accommodation during the stay unless the booking includes a cleaning service. The customer shall be responsible for the cleaning of the accommodation at the end of the stay unless the booking includes a cleaning service.
The customer shall be liable for paying for any accidental damage to the property, furnishing or grounds to VillaVuokatti Oy.
Any comments or complaints concerning the amenities or condition of the accommodation shall be immediately and directly submitted to the owner of the accommodation. Complaints submitted after the stay will not be considered.
Any items left by the customer at the accommodation shall be kept for 14 days. The item(s) may be sent to the customer by agreement but the customer shall pay all delivery costs in addition to a service charge of EUR 35 per delivery.
VILLAVUOKATTI OY may use information received from its customers for its own direct marketing. Information provided by the customer shall not be disclosed to any third party.
VILLAVUOKATTI may charge a security (EUR 250) from the customer before the stay.
VILLAVUOKATTI OY reserves the right to make changes.
